Nöl Collective
Visit ↗Yasmeen Mjalli founded Nöl Collective in Ramallah in 2017, building the production model around women's cooperatives and family workshops distributed across Palestinian villages — a structure that shapes the work before you even register the aesthetic. The pieces run toward linen, cotton, natural chain; sirwal trousers, midi skirts in scarlet, Ottoman coin belts. Nothing is trying to be Western RTW with an Eastern reference dropped in. The political framing is explicit and unashamed, which is unusual; most labels with an ethical supply chain bury it beneath lifestyle imagery. What's worth noting is how the production geography — dispersed, cooperative, village-based — visibly informs the range's character rather than functioning as a footnote to it.
