Mrs Keepa

Mariam Yehia launched Mrs Keepa in 2016, naming the label for her husband's old goalkeeper nickname, and built it into a ready-to-wear house that treats tailoring as architecture. Trained in Cairo and now working out of Dubai, Yehia favours sculptural cuts, draped bralettes and corsetry, satin and memory taffeta, and the occasional silk piece worked in close-toned palettes of mushroom, black and muted green. The brand carries Fashion Trust Arabia recognition, but the case for it is in the construction: pieces that are precisely cut and quietly assertive rather than loud. What earns Mrs Keepa a place here is that restraint, the discipline holding the drama in check.
