Personalised jewellery tends toward the sentimental: names in hurried cursive, charms that crowd a wrist. MIDRA takes the same idea somewhere quieter. The Emirati atelier sets single Arabic letters and lines of calligraphy into gold-plated rings, fine chains and pendants, all of it built for daily wear rather than the jewellery box. What we like is the restraint: one letter, cleanly drawn, carries a name without announcing it. These are pieces you forget you are wearing, which is exactly the point.
