Lara Khoury sits at the seam between RTW and couture — closer to couture than most labels in her tier admit. Trained at ESMOD Beirut, she founded the label in 2008 and has been quietly defining the experimental edge of Beirut design ever since. Garments are constructed piece by piece, with the kind of finish that reads as obsession on close inspection.
The work falls in the prêt-à-couture register that Lebanese designers tend to push toward without ever quite committing to — directional silhouettes, hand-finished detail, small production runs. The editorial discipline runs through every piece.
