DoubleA

EDITOR'S NOTE

Double A is a leather house first — its own line calls itself 'a refined philosophy of timeless statements,' and the catalogue backs it up. The signatures are named like characters: the Austin and Dominic leather coats, the Gavin ostrich jacket, the Dahlia suede coat, the Gaia shearling. Exotic finishes — ostrich, shearling, suede — and limited editions sit at the top; blazers, belts and bags round out the range. The look is restrained and architectural rather than embellished, outerwear meant to outlast the season it was bought in. Priced EGP 1,808–50,899, the ceiling reserved for the limited-edition leathers.
