Andrea Wazen works out of Beirut making shoes — heels above all — with a sculptural bent that puts the construction itself on display rather than dressing it up. The brand occupies a specific gap in the Lebanese market: not the wedding-season maximalism that dominates local footwear, not the quiet basics built to travel, but something more committed to form as a statement.
Beirut's scene has contracted since 2019, and the labels still making noise tend to do so with intention. What reads consistently here is a preoccupation with the heel as structure, not afterthought.
